FAQ
Frequently asked questions before you bring your car in.
Appointments, payment, guarantee and tracking. Questions about each service, such as how much an oil change costs, are on that service's page. If yours is not here, message us.
Appointments and opening hours
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 13:30 and 15:00 to 18:30. Saturdays, 9:00 to 13:00. Closed on Sundays and bank holidays. Outside those hours you can message us on WhatsApp and we will reply when we open.
Do I need an appointment?
For services and repairs, it is best to book: that way we have the slot and the parts ready. If the car will not start or it is urgent, call us and we will work something out.
Where is the workshop?
At Calle Ejemplo, 12, 38108 San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. On the contact page you will find the map and directions from the south, the north and Santa Cruz.
Quotes and payment
Do I get a quote before the repair?
Yes, always in writing and before we start. It is valid for 12 working days and we do not touch the car without your agreement.
What if you find another fault once the car is stripped down?
We tell you within 48 hours at most and do not repair it without your permission. The quote you signed does not change unless you accept it.
How can I pay?
You can pay in cash, by card or with Bizum. You get an invoice with every part and the labour itemised.
Do your prices include tax?
Yes. All prices on the website include IGIC, the Canary Islands sales tax, which applies here instead of VAT.
Guarantee and your rights
What guarantee do your repairs have?
Every repair is guaranteed for 3 months or 2,000 km, whichever comes first, on parts and labour. That is the guarantee Spanish law requires for cars (Royal Decree 1457/1986, article 16).
Do I get the replaced parts back?
Yes, unless you tell us you do not want them. That way you can see for yourself what was replaced.
Do you have an official complaints form?
Yes. Official complaint forms (hojas de reclamaciones) are available at the workshop. The your rights page explains how they work.
Tracking your car
How can I see how my car is getting on?
Go to How's my car? and type your number plate and the 6-digit code on your drop-off receipt, or open the link we send you on WhatsApp. You see the status straight away, without phoning.
What if I lose my drop-off receipt?
Call us. We check that the car is yours and give you a new code for the tracking.
Language
Do you speak English?
Yes. We speak Spanish and English, and we can explain the quote and the fault in whichever of those you prefer.
